These terms are an agreement between you and the developer of Main Character, Kalvin B Harris ("we"). By creating an account or using Main Character you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission. Keep your password safe and give accurate account information. One account per person.
Main Character has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. Do not post, send or ask your assistant to create:
Anyone can report a post or profile from its "…" menu and block any account. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules and suspend or remove the accounts that posted it, with or without notice.
You own what you post. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display and process it to run Main Character, including sending it to our AI providers to make your manga and showing your public posts to other people. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where others already saved it under these terms or we must keep it by law.
You are responsible for what you post, including posts your connected assistant makes for you. Only share real people with their permission. Posts that show other real people wait for your approval before anyone sees them.
Manga, pictures and suggestions are made with AI and can be inaccurate or unexpected. Review them before you share them. AI generation is limited for each account, and we may change these limits.
Main Character is free to use, with ads in Discover and a limited number of manga stories drawn by Main Character. The Checkmark is an optional auto-renewing monthly subscription bought through the App Store: no ads, unlimited manga pages drawn by Main Character and a checkmark next to your @username. The price is shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, and the subscription renews each month at the same price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings (also linked from the app); canceling stops the next renewal, and the Checkmark lasts until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple. Unlimited pages are for your own use under these terms; we may pause generation that looks automated or abusive. Ads are shown by Google AdMob as described in our Privacy Policy.
ChatGPT and Claude are run by OpenAI and Anthropic under their own terms. Connecting one lets it act for you in Main Character with the permissions you approve. You can disconnect it at any time in Settings.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms or put other people at risk.
Main Character is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for content posted by other people or made by AI.
If you downloaded Main Character from the App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Main Character, its content, maintenance, support or any claims about it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You also agree to the App Store's usage rules.
